I have 32 Gb and still I get a spinning server when clicking on a page link or any thread links if that matters.  Hmm... I wonder why.  :chinscratch:

I dunno what happen, but this mod entry on GHF-DL is way off bounce if you ask me.  :chinscratch:

http://download.fliggerty.com/download-112-62

Why I notice that is simple, because I was curious about the forum link button on each mod entry (not everyone, though) has still work or not.

Leo I can not even log into GHF-DL, I can only visit it as a logged out user. Every time I log in to GHF-DL it logs me right out. This is I believe due to the fact that GHF-DL are still on the old servers. Please be patient, I'll pester Fliggerty more in the upcoming days.

That's okay and I understand the current situation.  I just wanted to mention it.

Could we have a sticky post in this forum about what requirements the monthly modding competition has?

Not that this was a site issue, but really an over-site on my part when I made the sub-forum.
Here's the link to the stick asked for.

Would part of the site issue be a big black square while scrolling through posts?

Shouldn't be an issue with the image in the middle of the post. Have you tired clearing your cookies?
IDK I can see the image fine when I click the link to the post, so I'm not certain what could be causing the issue with you. Can anyone else see the image?

What image?  :chinscratch:

@Drakkmore:  I think he mean the Morrowind theme as it has one post in brown while the next post is in black.  Other than that, I dunno what he mean.

I thought he was talking about the image I attached in the sticky thread you had asked for Leo.

I see no images on any given post. what I see is what looks like a piece of paper with a green dot and next to it the word image,  the black square is random (some posts are fine, but others no)  and it follows my cursor as I scroll through a post, it is random and jumps from one place to another,  this is the only site that I have experienced this issue
Does not impede my browsing experience,  just wondering if your aware

Huh.
That's a new one on me, I've never even heard of this happening. Very odd, I'll pass this along to Fliggerty, and see what he has to say about it. Before do pass it along though could you tell us what OS you're using, as well as your browser, and even which board skin you have set for viewing GHF? This will help us figure out the issue.

I am using Windows 8.1 with Google Chrome as my browser

I think its the prosilver ?  I never set one, so I am assuming this is the default

It is prosilver and this phpBB 3.0 theme is called Morrowind I think, which GHF have had for a long time.

Hello!
Some of the links in the sliding images at the top of each page are broken.

The reason for that is simple, because the THoS site are now a defunct site and thus only accessible via the Wayback Machine.

The CnE site is still down and have been since the server migration failed in late October 2017.

Aside for that I dunno how much more there is that doesn't work atm.

Fliggerty has put C&E in line until after all of the current issues with GHF-DL, and Modding History have been taken care of. Until that happens then he will see whit he can do with C&E, and as Leonardo stated The Holds of Skyrim has been shut down by Fliggerty, and will be completely removed when he gets a chance to upgrade Modding History for Oblivion, and Skyrim Mods (possibly FO:3, NV, 4 too). I'll see if he has time to remove THoS banner from the rotation, but likely it'll be a while as Fliggerty is a very busy human being IRL.

It would be convenient for anyone if Fliggerty could bring back the GHF Status site (not sure if that link will work or not) and post any news there.

Hi Folks,

Long time lurker but first time poster.  I'm hoping someone can help.  I am trying to download Better Clothes Bloodmoon Plus 1.5 from the Additional Files section of http://download.fliggerty.com/download-21-804 and instead of the download I get taken to a page (http://download.fliggerty.com/additional_file.php?id=138) full of nonsense , I tried this with 3 different browser and all did the same thing  However, when I try to download version 1.0 from the main link, that works fine.  I've replied here as I thought it might be the most relevant place from the title, apologies if it isn't.

Regards

Is the site still having trouble? I just tried to upload a mod and got this strange error message:

Code: Select all
The requested URL /<b>[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning</b>: in file <b>/home/ghf/public_html/download/includes/processors/upload_file.php</b> on line <b>48</b>: <b>shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons</b><br />http:/download.fliggerty.com/download-11-1212 was not found on this server.

It's all very wonky when it comes to uploading, we have some mods having been uploaded for the may modathon that Darkelfguy throws every year, which I can not approve, meanwhile other people have issues getting the upload page to even work. Others get the upload page, but the browse button to find the file path to their mods is missing. Some of these things are related to the usage of flash, while others can only be fixed by Fliggerty, who is aware of the issues that have been reported to us through the forums, but he is also extremely busy IRL, and has to be able to find the spare time to be able to work on the issues, Also most of his few moments of spare time is being used up bay another project he is working on for our sister site Modding History.
You might want to try uploading your mod to Modding History until the issues with GHF-DL are sorted out. At least that way the mod can still be shared with those that might enjoy it.
We hope that you can exhibit a bit of patience while we continue to try to get our issues sorted, and thank you for your interest in the site.

EDIT: It does look like you did manage to upload your mod to GHF-DL, provided that it is supposed to be 3.09kb. However I still can not approve the mod as the submit button does not seem to exist.
