uhm help?

so after i've been playing for a few years oblivion has found its way to do some strange things.

here are a few. if you guys can't help me ima have to re-install the whoel dam game. plz dont make me do this.

martin grey robe
jauffer in monks robe
both follow character when i havent touched the story.

imperial temple: people star freaking out about dagon invasion and they run around with swords drawn but nothing is there. it seem dagon is laughing.

all of things and no story touch. i had to restart from scratch after a few years of rping a pivotal character.

i do have a few random mods to incase my self in role playing. but none of them seem to be affecting the actual game it self. nor do any of the mods have themselves anything to do with the main story.... help?!?!?!?!?

Oh yes you have touch the main quest and once the emperor Uriel Septim is dead you have touch the story (the main quest). The clothing that both Martin and Jauffre is wearing are plain vanilla, so if you want to change that you need to install a mod that alter their clothing.

When you're talking to Baurus in the Imperial Prison he ask you what the emperor said and give you a key so that you can enter the exit to Imperial Sewers and deliver the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre, which is the Grandmaster of the Blades in Weynon Priory and he is wearing the monks robe just to conceal his identity.

The reason why Martin is wearing a grey robe is quite simple, because he doesn't know who is father is until you (the player) tell him about his father (Uriel Septim) is dead and he (Martin) is the last heir. He is supposed to be a priest in Akatosh church, Kvatch when you arrive to Kvatch to rescue him and bring him back to Weynon Priory. After a little fight in Weynon Priory you're asked to escort both of them to Cloud Ruler Temple where Jauffre invite you to become a member of the Blades.

Sorry I have never finished the main quest in Oblivion so I can't help you there.

Are you saying Martin and Jeoffrey are following you , but you have not begun the main quest beyond the starter dungeon?

martin jauffree a few soilders come to my character where ever i am and say it time to light the dragon fires. then i go to the temple of the one or what ever and dagon is not attacking but everyone around in that distric is runing arund yelling about it..... i have reinstalled the game and am seeing if it does it again.

note: i didn't do anything with the main story line.  i coded it out my inventory and through it in a lake and pissed off.

I think you should post on the Official forums with this problem.

To me, it seems like a problem with your save file (specifically, a script has been triggered early), not your game.  Try playing on a different save file and see what happens, it looks like your file may be corrupt.

bloody hell if you lot can't find out whats what, there be some fun to come out of this yet. will do wolf. its not the game file im sure cuz me and me mate  have 2 diff chars for rping and some simular liek things are happening all over cryodil.

I believe that means this problem is fixed, and this thread can be locked. Notify me or another moderator to have it reopened.
