Does anyone have, know where to get, or can make a simple set of screwdrivers for TES3 (Morrowind)? I need a standard cross-head and flat head.

If I was feeling lucky, I'd ask for pliers and wire cutters too.

If this is still active I might try it.I have to learn how to make MW supported collisions.Do you want clutter items or ones that are "usable",i.e. animated,controlled,and activatable? I could probably use the lockpick stuff for the screwdrivers,the other items...dunno.

Yes, it's still mostly active. Actually, the idea of "repairing" machines with an animated screwdriver is kind of attractive. Otherwise, it's just more clutter.

i had found a hand tool collection on a 3d model site that had pliers and screw drivers in .obj i had tried a few times to convert to MW but it kept losing faces i'll bring it from home if you want to give it a try or maybe find a link to it?

I`ll take a look but I think it`ll be less headache to just bite the bullet and make them.It`s not too hard,I`ll have to make the textures too though.That way we can control the variables.
I`ve got a few project related problems to sort first so I can clear my table for this so we`ve got some time.No hurry.

Morovir, this is just a quick mesh I squeezed out in a few minutes while I was down sick this week.I`m still trying to get the tip to map properly and look right and make a texture that looks good. Image

This can be easily done. I`m having a hard time making a good looking texture. I just did the collision and am going to game test to check scale and bugtest.Then I can alter tings as needs be and use that basic design for the other pieces.

Ok a longer shaft,not real happy with the texture yet.I`ve been tied up in some other reqests. Still there is some progress.

Nice work on the screwdriver. I've been trying to get the hang of blender myself, but so far, most of my work has been fixing or modifying existing things - not creating new ones.

It`s been a hard road,I`m so not a fast learner. If you`re interested there`s a great set of classes on the Alliance website by Vince.It got me over my hurdles and gave me the basic skills to begin making stuff. I`m having computer problems now and can`t access the web page there. I want to get this exported and up it to you so you can use it but till I get this problem cleared up I`m stuck.

It's not so bad once you have the time to mess around with it a bit ;) . Nice work :nanadance:

Thanks DL, that`s my weak point...time...so many reqests so little time. RL has been particularly  brutal lately, sucks the creative juices right out of me...sorta like my ex.

Ok here`s a first useable draft.I loaded in the MW CS as a repair item with 100 uses and it worked fine for me.Let mev know what happens for you.I have much more planned for this like a whole tool box, there`s no icon yet but I1ll add that and more when I get time...now ...how do I attach a zip file here...oh rats gonna have to link ya to my 4shared...    MW screwdriverstuff.zip
Oh yeah..ya might want to scale it down just a little more...kinda forgot to do that.

Sorry for not getting back, but I haven't been able to mod much lately. Between me, and my daughter, being sick - I've probably spent less than two hours modding in the last month. I'll try to give it a go as soon as I can get a chance.
