Any way post your issues here, and we'll do what we can to get it cleared up.

And the last thing mentioned, was :
Thundercraft wrote:I found another problem: When I tried to download ( url= http://mw.modhistory.com/download-7-14362 ) Combat Redefined v0.8b, all that came up in the download window was a file named "file.php_id=40196". This actually downloaded and was 30 kb in size. In case the site's software merely lost the file's original filename, I renamed it to a .ZIP file and tried to open it with 7zip. However, it gave me an error, telling me that it was not an archive in a recognized format.

I did find a version of this on Nexus ( https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/40196 ). However, that is a newer version (v0.85b) and has two downloads (one 2 MB and another 3.8 MB).

Because the MMH site tried to download this as "file.php_id=40196", I suspect that the database entry for it had been corrupted somehow. It makes me wonder how many other mod files have been lost or corrupted...

I opened that file in notepad++, and it is a document full of html code that looks like it might be the the old release page from TESNexus.
This is how Opera sees the code when plugged in through the element inspector.
Opera page tesnexus for combat enhanced.jpg

I have no idea what's going on here with this, but I'm not certain that it has anything to do with the server move. I'll ask Fliggerty about it.

From what I can tell is that CSS aren't loaded hence for seeing it in plain text, because the same thing happen to me earlier this year on Nexus when I login there.

But who knows for sure and I can only guess.

I'm not terribly concerned about why the page using the code from the file in the Combat Redefined looks like it does, what concerns me is where is the mod that is supposed to be there. The download contains no archive, or folder structure. Just one little php file that contains the code for the web-page at TESnexus (not the Nexus Morrowind section).

In 2012/13 Dark0ne separated TESNexus into a Morrowind and a Oblivion section and that was a direct result of PES being shut down in August 2012, so I think that has to do with that.

Hi!

My problem, I can't download this mod via download button:

http://download.fliggerty.com/download--1199

because the result are garbage, for example:

"[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /home/ghf/public_html/download/file.php on line 12: finfo_file(): Empty filename or path
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /home/ghf/public_html/download/includes/functions_general.php on line 167: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3826)"

What can I do?

That has to do with this, so read it and report any link that doesn't work in that thread.  Also, we all need to wait for Fliggerty to solve most server related issues there is.

Recently, Arthmoor changed the domain name for AFK Mods, so I thought to check his two Morrowind mods on MMH and both of them has a link to TESA.  But those links are broken and Arthmoor doesn't have mod threads for these mods.

http://mw.modhistory.com/download-46-12240 -- Hosted at AFK Mods: https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/file ... ransports/
http://mw.modhistory.com/download-80-12241 -- Hosted at AFK Mods: https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/file ... merchants/

So, I suggest that people to go there and post a thread here.

Thank you Leo I've changed the Mirror links on both mods to appropriately reflect where else they can be downloaded from.

There is only thing we can do and that's to wait for Drakkmore to pass it on to Fliggerty.

Passed on to Fliggerty, but now we have to wait for him to have time to address this.

Hello,
I've tried uploading my mod in the upload section (http://download.fliggerty.com/upload) but there is no way to select the file to be uploaded. :(

I just need to clarify that you do not have the browse button as shown on this screenshot:

GHF-DL browse button.jpg

If you do not have the browse button then we need to know what browser you are using as well as what version of windows, and any extensions, or addons that you might be using that may interfere with the loading of the page.

This is what it looks like on my side:

Firefox Quantum 66.0.2 (64 bits) up to date, Windows 7 SP1 up to date. No add blocker or addons that would prevent the page to display correctly.

The button is still missing on the upload page.

I just tried to upload a mod to MMH and the problem persists. I guess it will never be fixed then?

I reminded Fliggerty a few days ago about the issue, hopefully he'll find some time to fix the issue, as I have no way to even approve the few files awaiting approval right now.

If you have that button then there is no problem, but you should also have the browse button.

I have both buttons when using Firefox 56, shown below.

Have you enabled Adobe Flash on GHF-DL?

Leo you have got to be able to browse, before you can upload a file. If you try uploading before browsing, then you are basically uploading nothing to the site.

On a side note having, just gotten a new laptop, after loosing my PC to multiple failures, and having just opened an upload page for the first time on this laptop, I did not have a "Browse" button, only an "Upload" button, and a grey box where the "Browse" button is supposed to be. When I clicked on the box the browser I'm using (Waterfox 56) asked if I wanted Flash to run on GHF-DL. Upon clicking the allow option the page refreshed, and the "Browse" button was where it is supposed to be. I am curious as to why the "Upload" button shows up while flash is disabled, and the "Browse" button does not.

Enabling Flash does not fix my issue with not being able to submit when approving files.

I have neither browse nor upload button and I certainly will not install Flash since I didn't need it last time I uploaded a mod MMH. I won't install an old version of Firefox either.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to have problems uploading mods. I hope somebody will fix it fast. :)

I know but I think you missunderstood me.  I just wanted to show how it's suppose to be and I should know since I was part of the development of GHF-DL back in late 2011 or was it 2012.

But regarding Adode Flash I can confirm what you said you need to use Flash, becuase the uploader on GHF-DL requires Flash and that's why Arthmoor doesn't upload/update his mods here anymore.

I think I know why you can't see the browse button at the same time only see the upload button, because the browse button requires Flash to be enabled simple as that.

The last one I think only Fliggerty can answer/fix that.

Flash was not required to upload mods to MMH but it's now broken. I can live without uploading mods on GHF-DL but I'd like to be able to upload my mod to MMH.
