Im doing a dl spree on Drow and ive recently searched Drow city denizens. since PES is gone i avoid those links but i found a link leading to MMH. However it lead me to a page that stated "No Access" does this mean the mod is archived and cannot be distributed? I really want this mod along with others

Yes this mod has been moved to the archive at the request of the author.
We apologize to you for the inconvenience, but we must acquiesce to the wishes of the mod authors.

This mod has a dead PES link, but when I tried that PES link in the Wayback Machine I can't bring up the original page for that.   Anyone here who had some luck to view that dead PES link in the Wayback Machine?

The Wayback machine screencaps pages, not the entire website.  Thus, it's possible for some pages to be screencapped on a website, while others are not.  Hence, why the search functions don't work.

It's also possible that the mod was removed from PES for some reason and the person who uploaded it to MMH had it on their HDD.

You can contact the author at hb50@hotmail.com

No guarantee if he will reply, however.  Not sure why the PES link is needed.  The readme is included.

edit:
I've found the listing on PES.  But you can't click on it, because the page wasn't saved.

Spirithawk, the Modding History Senior Curator, has asked that all PES mirror links be kept on the mod downloads even if they are dead links. He has some tricks up his sleeve (that he has not shared with me, or anyone else) that he uses to track down the pages in question. Since he is still the SC for Modding (regardless of how long it's been since he's been on) we will abide by his wishes. We will continue to do so until there is a new SC appointed by Fliggerty, or Spirithawk starts popping in here on a regular basis, and changes his mind about the links.

I understand that, but I wonder if those dead PES links would be better documented if one put it in the Admin notes field.

Even if a working link via the Wayback Machine were provided any PES link will always be intact, so I don't understand why SH is against using working PES links via the Wayback Machine on MMH.
