A new DLC trailer has been released. We're going back to Morrowind. Solsthiem, at the very least, though the muhsrooms from Morrowind are in the trailer as well. The trailer talks about the" first Dragonborn" or something.. I was a bit distracted.

Hah, yea Maiq the first dragonborn, who was a dragon priest from what I gathered.  Also notable things

-you can ride a dragon (not sure about controlling it)
-some sweet armor
-A while ago a couple of names were found in the game files.  Telvanni tower was one of them, and the mushrooms confirms the location.
-On the island of solstheim (YAY!)

Looks amazing to me.  Beth is doing GREAT with post-release dlc so far.

That looks absolutely fantastic. If they put Morrowind in there... Skyrim might just meet me very soon.

Looks very interesting ..

@1:09 - Skyrim interpretation of Corprus Beasts? .. or Bone Walkers?

@1:12 - Rieklings for sure

Can't wait to properly see and explore the Velothi architecture and the Telvanni Mushroom Towers in their Skyrim versions .. but I guess patience is needed due to the 1 month xbox exclusivity so it'll probably not come out until Christmas time at the earliest for PC

I'm extremely excited for this, mostly because I missed Morrowind so much. The only problem I can see is that some people will play it and try to say that they "Played Morrowind through Skyrim."

Not something big, really. I'm just predicting it.

Hmm yea I think you're right No One.  Could this mean the three houses are back?  The idea of choosing a faction and doing their quests has been missing since Morrowind

Wasn't one of the houses destroyed by the Nords during Oblivion?

I think the Great House are rebuilding, Telvanni I know was overrun by the argonians, idk about the other two but the nords killing off (prob the redoran) makes sense, especially after the Red Mountain Incident. But I think they would rebuild no matter how demolished they are, because of their pride as a great house.

I seem to recall finding a book on a boat on the north eastern edge of Skyrim which was the journal entries of some of the last living Telvanni, talking about sending their only begotten son away or some such.

I never followed up on it, but it's where I first learned that the houses were pretty much obliterated.

That book's part of a Misc. quest for a Dunmer in Riften. He's the baby in the book.

I've played Dragonborn for about an hour, though I haven't been able to get far into any quests. I've spent most of the time drowning in nostalgia. They even replaced the Skyrim soundtrack with the Morrowind one! Oh, and the DLC seems to take place on Solsthiem, though you can see Red Mountain from Raven Rock

Can you swim across the pond to Morrowind?

Is the Morrowind soundtrack remastered? Or left alone?

Nope, you can't swim to Vvardenfell, unfortunately, though the eruption of Red Mountain has turned southern Solsthiem into the Ashlands. And I'm not quite sure with the soundtrack. But I just finished the main questline, and it was pretty fun. Now I can explore the rest of the island.
