I've heard nothing but complaints and problems about the first two, especially the cloud over-writing new saves with old ones, since release. Plus the reports that it gets crap framerates on anything nVidia and the FPS can stay constant when you cut resolution from 1080p to SVGA.
Apparently they had to push out an update last night, it was so bad. Updating within a day or two of release? Yeah, that's quite probably the best example of shoddy code I have ever seen. And the fact they tied it all into malware like Steam just makes it that much worse.

Uh... Bethesda games tend to have more bugs than most, and more crashes than almost any other company. They're on the low end of that scale, it's just generally forgivable because of the scope of their games. .
