Well, I neglected to mention yesterday that the whims of the site owner were merciful... he let you off the hook and, contrary to the song, he "let you go" after enough suffering had been endured!

But on the topic of Lightning Strikes, I finally got to play with it installed today and, man, it's cool! I liked the thunderstorms in vanilla Morrowind... in fact, they were so realistic that I thought, "man, it almost makes you afraid of getting struck out here!" I mean seriously, you're out there in a barren wasteland a lot of the time, and in places with low, sparse vegetation most everywhere else. If there's lightning around and you're one of the tallest things within a couple of acres, there's a decent chance you're going to be very close to a strike! But alas, as realistic as the storms may be, that was just never going to happen... until now!

This is awesome. I set the chance to 20 (default, right?) and the damage to high (not sure about default there, and too lazy to look atm). I got tagged literally after walking out the door into a storm! Let's just say my PC made an abrupt 180 and waited the storm out! But that's what you'd do, right? Knowing a little something about lightning, I would. So this is AWESOME!!! Great work!

btw, it's even better to see one strike near you... you see the bolt, and get the chance to think, "wow, that was close!" I know that feeling, and I'm so glad my PC does, too!

It's been so long since I've worked on this mod I forgot what the defaults where. I do remember that the strike can and will kill NPCs, so make sure you're not in a town that has ones you need to talk to while it's lightning.  :arrows:

OK, cool, that's good to know. I was only thinking of my PC when I set the damage to max... might have to rethink that as well! Nevertheless, great mod!
