A PAW SWIFT LIKE THUNDER WIP
I’m starting to work out the details for the next adventure of K’thri-Dar and thought I’d start by laying it out as I progress and posting it here on GHF as a sort of WIP which started out to be a mod and is now mutating into a Fan Fiction.
WIP - Oblivion (NOT)
The story will begin in the Imperial City but it is the Imperial city in the Province of Cyrodiil that adheres to the flora, fauna and magical/mystic fantasy world defined in Morrowind not the medieval European venue of Oblivion and Skyrim. The city and the island is much bigger and fuller of stuff to see, use and do. A map of the Imperial City and City Isle city and the island is inspired by the work of a fan named superfahd who posted an excellent map of the City Isle and its many suburbs on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/.../at ... _imperial/)
There will be no Fast Travel for our characters but rides can be ‘bummed’ on the stilt striders that provide freight service along the major road network connecting the cities. Within city limits there is for the ladies and well-heeled gents the ubiquitous litters, sedan chairs and palanquins to provide urban taxi service. For the common folk there are guar drawn buses. And for those willing to pay the cost and risk the potential of an airborne encounter with the flocks of Cliff Racers who prowl the less civilized portions of Cyrodiil there are Netch borne sky ships of varying sizes and capacities.
AND THE DRAMATIS PERSONAE ARE
I’m going to attempt this story as a first person narrative with the first person being a disgraced and discredited Altmer academician named Midas Truncator who is in need of a triumph to shove under the noses of the Fellows of the Imperial Society. He will need material for that triumph, thoughtfully provided by Divayth Fyr and delivered by K’thri-Dar and his Mentor, the Sea Shanty Poet Baadargo from the prior FanFic ‘Dancing Claws and Double Dealing’.
Midas Truncator will need to travel to faraway places with strange sounding names aboard the Good Ship the ‘Golden Grimoire’ captained by the master of all things salty Baadargo, and he will need a doughty stand-in for Lara Croft, namely K’thri-Dar the Calico Khajiit.
Until next time as the narrative begins to evolve..
