So, lads, I've been out of the loop for some years, but passing a gamestop store yesterday, I saw what appeared to be a new Morrowind game for sale. I went in, ,but the lines were so long as to make an inquiry impossible. So, what's up with this? You who remember me know that I loved Morrowind more than life itself. I have always wished Bethesda would do a remake. Is this It? Pray Azura that it is...Tell me what you know..

Yep
From what I understand, despite being an MMO, the game has done the land and lore of Morrowind justice. If you can tolerate MMOs, it could still be a good time. And welcome back, it's been a while.
Also, while the combat is still garbage, 2016 was a big year for graphics mods in MW - including bump mapped textures. You can get the graphics to look nicer than a remake probably would these days.
That was the Morrowind expansion for ESO yes. Never thought that i would do it, but i play ESO myself. Also have the morrowind expansion and last time i've got the elsweyr expansion. The latest one is about skyrim though. I've rolled into ESO, because on steam there was a free playing weekend then, which happens more though (especially when a new expansion has been released) Been into MMO's for some time. I also play Aion (NA server) and Black Desert (EU server). ESO is a nice game, though it can become confusing, especially regarding guilds. Works different then what i'm used from aion and bdo. My first char on there was an altmer and thus joining the aldmeri dominion (you choose one of the 3 alliances) ESO is about the 2nd era. The start is a bit weird. You begin on coldharbour, yep, the plane of molag bal. You play a character with no soul, as molag bal has stolen your soul. And you travel through all of tamriel.
As for TES III: Morrowind; why would you use a graphic mod. I don't use any and it still looks good. Combat is also good, especially later in the game. Maybe i'm just used to old stuff.
As a matter of choice I tend to stay away from MMO's but ESO has got me somewhat interested
As far as Morrowind, I also do not use any graphics, or script or any other extension, nor do I download or make Mods which require such things. Basic game is fine by me
