Nevena's slave mod-- a question

So I apoligize if this is the wrong place. I used google advanced did not find a thread that answered my question.

I am in sort of a catch 22. I have taken like 7 slaves to freedom. one was vanilla the others were using the nevena guide scripts.

I took those slaves to the only safehouse known to me.

I did a bunch of nevena quests but what from I read, you don't find out about all the safe houses until you free 15 slaves.

it is super difficult to cross all of morrowind with a slave (let alone a gaggle of them) and keep them alive.

so my question. Where can I safely take slaves other than the first safehouse? That house is super crowded. I could not even walk out without TCL.

you can't see your progress, and I don't think dumping them right outside house works.

am I missing something obvious?

Don't use the slave mod my self, bit have you tried taking some of the slaves to the Argonian Embassy in Ebonhart? I would think that maybe the author might have used that for a safe house at least for Argonain slaves. I know there is a vanilla slave in the ashlands that wants you the player to take them there, and there is at least one vanilla slave hiding out there when you first enter the place. As I said I don't use the mod, but it may be worth giving a try.

thanks for your reply.  you are right, you can take them to ebonheart.
also,
I found out that I only have to "free" them, not take them away, before I got the name of second "safehouse" which is the embassy at ebonheart. a bit obvious, oh well!   yeah, I progressed the quest but it is still a sticky wicket of a mod.

I was told that the slaves in molag mar needed freeing, and there is a key (not sure there was before) but the slaves for now say they will not leave because guards will kill them. I am going to go into TES construction kit and see if I am missing something.

I like the idea, but slow walking 3-8 slaves to a safehouse gets to be a real pain. a) it is slow. b) you have to keep them alive.

If the "safehouse" is too crowded it's time to tell them the party's over and they might want to go home.  Get up off of some of that gold you got, and maybe spring for some transportation.  Slaves freed via a Main Quest, that need to follow you, will stay at their respective safe house.   To move up in the "Twin Lamps"  the slaves that you aid must be guided one of the "safehouses".    The Read-me is helpful.

finally figure it out! got them into safehouse picked right dialogue, and then they disappear after you leave cell.

kelticpete, I am also playing Nevena"s TLSH mod, and , I am having the following problem;  Gaylen in Ald-Velothi asks me to find a female slave that has escaped from the port of Gnisis, and was last seen heading North.  I cannot find her and so cannot get further with Gaylen's quests.   I tried discussing this in a different post somewhere else (?), but could't get the info I need.  Someone suggested that it was the slave in the ruins north of Ald-Velothi but that one is a male and is dealt with on a quest given by Ilmini Dren as part of the MQ and not one of the "aid the twin lamps" quests.  Have you found her?  I could use a hint.

The Argonian Embassy building in Ebonheart has a prison interior cell down the stairs and I once helped the vanilla slave found just south of Uvirith's Grave and north of Erabenimsun Camp.



Offtopic:  Why do I get the mobile theme loaded on my PC when visiting UESP?  I don't own a smart phone so why do I get the mobile theme loaded.  Oh, I wish UESP could be more stable and sometimes when one wants some information from UESP the site is very slow, which gave me a server timeout now and then.

keltipete:  New Bug.  Freed all 6 slaves @ Ules Plantation but did not get a Journal update, so, now I can't get any furthur with quests from Aurora in Ald' Ruhn either.



Offtopic:   Leonardo.  Yesterday, for the 1st time ever UESP gave me a server timeout.  Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
