As I was falling asleep last night, I had an Idea. As far as I know, the only player animation we can control is the sneak animation. Would it be possible to make a program, where multiple sneak anims would be stored in one place, all named the same, and virtual tags only that program could read. Then whilst in game, you could press shift 5 times (or any other command) to bring up a separate program menu that would let you choose the sneak anim from a list. The program would then move the default sneak, and put another sneak anim in its place. When you press ctrl, you could clap or something. Press Shift 5 times again, and return it to default, or pick another anim. If anyone can follow what I mean, Does this sound possible at all?

No. The only way to swap out an animation is to make a new animation file to replace the default animation file or attach it to an NPC. This might work for something like one of the open source projects, though, but it can't be done with scripting alone.

Exactly what I mean, Using an exterior program (not in morrowind) to do the swapping. A certain command could pull up the exterior program's menu that would give a list of swappable sneak poses to replace the default sneak pose. In theory, could this be a possibility?

I don't know because I don't know if Morrowind reads the animation files when the game is loaded or when they're called. I think someone over on the officials asked about this, I would search there for the thread.

I'm pretty sure I saw a discussion of this over there, but I could be wrong: old age does that sometimes. What were we talking about?
