Sorry I can't do anything on GHF-DL, except look at the mods, and Download them. Every time I open a GHF-DL tab I get logged out of MMH, and the Forums. I've asked Fliggerty if there is anything that I can do to help get things back on track, with the server migration, but he has yet to answer me about it.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who have that issue. Hopefully it will be fixed soon because we cannot upload our mods here, we can upload them only on MMH. :)

The requested URL /phpBB3/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Above is the error message I receive when attempting to re-enter the forum from the GHF_DL
I suppose you all(meaning the admins) know this .... and yes I had to re-login

This has been an issue with the phpBB forum software for a very long time... it's typically,   the url link is incorrectly identified or one of folders is not located in the correct place... again I suppose you all know this.  Assuming it all worked at some point in time, it may outdated or corrupted

Enjoy

Why the URL for GHF has an issue is related to what I said here.

The reason for that is that Fliggerty originally installed the phpBB3 forum software that has this /phpBB3/index.php link and when the server issue occured in late October last year he simply moved the entirely forum to MMH, hence for logging in via the Forum tab here.

As far as I can guess, Fliggerty is still in the process of straightening every thing out, as C&E is still down, and MMH is currently down (4:49 am Wednesday Oct 17th), lets all hope that by the end of the day all GHF affiliated pages are back up. We'll still need any bugs reported to us as we try to get things running smoothly again. I was not able to attempt contacting Fliggerty during normal human operating hours, and I hate to bother him while he's attempting that sleep thing humans must do 1/3ish of their days, so I will attempt to get to Fliggerty in the afternoon.

Again let me thank all of you for your patience with us during the past year. We'll try really, really hard to not let it happen again.

Have you checked GHF-DL, just to see if you can approve or disapprove uploaded mods among other things e.g updating etc?  :chinscratch:

Even moving mods into another category.

If that works then I'm quite sure that a lot of modders would appreciate.

Yeah GHF Downloads was up, and not logging me out when I made my last post., and now MMH is up, but it has some errors int he header area, much like Wolflore was doing early in the morning.I'm sure Fliggerty will have it all straightened out soon, provided that he has the time to do so.

Are downloads not working on GHF?

I get a page of garbage characters and errors when I try to download UC Armory and UC Nature among other mods.

Heh has nothing to do with cookies.  Fresh install of windows (unrelated) Edge, IE and Chrome all do the same thing.

I won't post the entire page but this is what shows up, again, has nothing do with with browser cache.

You're right GHF-DL has an issue and I got the exactly the same error you posted.

Probably the same reason MMH is having issues, and that would be Fliggerty is moving things to new servers, and setting up hosting on Amazon's AWS S3 storage. There will undoubtedly be more issues before Fliggerty is finished, so please bear with us until the migration has been completed.

MMH has this error when clicking on the search tab.

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /home/ghf/modhistory.com/search.php on line 10: require_once(/usr/share/sphinxsearch/api/sphinxapi.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

Leo remember telling someone to read the front page of MMH? In that announcement Fliggerty states that the search will not be working for the time being.

I know, but that announcement explains the reason for not working right.

I guess this is the wrong time to start modding Morrowind. I'm trying to follow the S.T.E.P. guide but a lot of the mods on that guide are hosted on this site. Out of curiosity, how long until this server migration is finished and we can download files again?

No reason to not mod, there are tons of resources for modding many of the mods on the STEP Site are on Nexus
in addition we here have a fantastic team of experienced modders who can help and answer questions you might have

I already finished installing most of the mods from the S.T.E.P wiki, but there are quite a few mods that I can't get access to since Great House Fliggerty's download function doesn't seem to be working. For example, the Mesh Improvement Optimization mod is inaccessible to me and I can't seem to find it anywhere else.

Don't tell me you actually installed Mod Organizer (MO) and using that to install mods.  :chinscratch:

If you did then don't expect to get any help from the people here, because MO is known not to work properly with some Morrowind mods and that also applies for Oblivion too.

Most people here are using Wrye Mash as a mod manager, which is essential to use for managing mods to ensure a stable heavy modded game.

Also, that S.T.E.P. guide clearly shows that the STEP site is a promotional site for MO and nothing else.  Period!

However, the majority of the people here are nice and I don't want to be the bad guy, so I suggest that you get rid of MO and start using Wrye Mash and learn how useful Wrye Mash really is.
