I have appointed a new Mouth!

With Peachykeen's advancement to the auspicious rank of Magister, a gaping hole was left in my...uh....staff list.

So I sat down yesterday for what I had assumed would be a long and intense mental debate over the plethora of good candidates that I have considered in the past little while.  But to be perfectly frank, it was actually a very simple decision.

I have always chosen a Mouth by selecting someone who gets excited about my various random projects and is willing to help me out with whatever wild hare I get.  Peachy certainly fit that mold...the Census and Excise Office is testament to that.  Once I got those qualifications in mind, one person stood out above the rest; all bright and shiny.

I am very happy to announce that Kiteflyer61 has accepted the position of Fliggerty's Mouth!        

Please give him your congratulations, and your thanks for what he has already given to GHF in his time as a Census Agent (which he will continue to do!)

"Proper"?  Don't be surprised if he keeps his C&E boots . . . or at least his badge; after all, KF has the singular distinction of being a C&E agant, an MMH admin, and not just any Mouth, but Fliggerty's Mouth.  He has more titles than anyone other than the man in the blue pajamas, himself.  One day, I expect he'll even have the choice between Magister and C&E Inspector . . . then again, maybe he won't have to choose and he'll be both?

As I told Fligg, it's an honor to even be considered for the position, let alone get it.

I really don't consider what I've done for GHF to be work. It's more fun than anything else.

As for the titles, it only means I'll be able to fix things myself rather than having to ask someone else.

Chazz, I wouldn't wear crocs if you paid me. They hurt my feet.  

Elaura, I understand the sentiment, but how can someone older than you be your kid?  

I do intend to continue my duties as census agent and MMH admin. The new title just allows me to help out in more areas than before.

I can't wait to see Sandman's reaction when he gets back from his boat. A lot has changed in the time he's been gone.
