Are you having problems with the site?

So I'm sure you have noticed that we performed a major upgrade to GHF recently.

One of the issues that some are experiencing is an inability to login.  This is most likely related to cookies.  Please delete your browser cookies (or just those related to fliggerty.com.)  Also, if you are using MultiLogin, you need to ensure your browser accepts third party cookies.  This article outlines how to do that on most browsers: http://feedjit.com/static/howToEnableTh ... okies.html

If you have BBcodes or smiley codes showing in your posts or signature, you simply need to edit and save them.  Doing so will re-encode the posts.  In your signature, make sure you uncheck the boxes below the editor that disable BBcodes and smilies.

As other issues crop up here and there, please rest assured that we are working on them.  Feel free to post anything in this thread.

If you can't login, or can't otherwise let us know about any problems you are having, please contact me either via this contact form or by email.

One issue I've just noticed, the site no longer allows the browser--at least the older I.E.--to set font size.

If you gould go through the stylesheet(s), and convert at least the main body font size to something like 100%, or 1.0em, etc.,  that would enable someone like me, with a huge monitor set at 1600x1200 pixels to read the screen without having to squint or get up out of the chair....

;)

That's all I see so far...looks great otherwise!

EDIT:  NEVERMIND!!!  I just found the Fon(t) Button!

Yeah...I'm not sure what happened to the image for that button.  I'll find a replacement for it sooner or later.

Is my sig too large? It only accounts for roughly 250kb per post, but I want to make sure that it will not be a burden to society and/or the server(mainly the server). I really enjoy artwork of this type.

I haven't been able to use the align tags with images in my signature either.

It's an issue with Chrome. Fligg is working on it. If you have Firefox or (god forbid) IE, they seem to be working fine. :)

Vicki, you'll need to reapply the BBCode in your signature.

No worry about server load.  This isn't a shared server anymore.  :sheo:

If you got an email with the subject "Test" from me, just ignore it.  It was only a test. ;)

The problem with the PMs have been reported on both Chrome and Firefox, though it seems to be limited to certain versions only.  I use Firefox 3.6.something-or-other and it works fine, but I can't use it in Chrome.  I'm working on that today.

Fligg, you want to hear something really odd?  You know that color issue I'm having; well, in this thread, on Morrowtheme, your username is red when the background of your posts is black and then your username is white when the background is brown.  I just don't get it.

Really?  That's really weird...I'm so baffled on that.  I've never seen a browser arbitrarily change colors like that.  Maybe Opera is becoming self aware...?

Everyone will hate me!  "This is all Elaura's fault. What a tool she was. I have to spend all day computing pi because she plugged in the Overlord."

Well at least you're in a position to be made one of our new master's chosen pets rather than a simple slave.

I don't think so.  Every-time I try to log in it asks me "What are you doing, Dave?"  I would think with so much memory, the Operalord would remember my name.  When I try to tell it my name isn't Dave, it thwacks me with a 404.  It has a nice singing voice, though.  When I turn it off at night, it sings Daisy Belle.

Yup, broken in Chrome here. It appears that each PM is shown, but the div they're in is very short (like 6 pixels tall). I can see the top edge of the text and buttons, but that's it.

It seems to be happening in Chrome and FF4.

This is not only to Chrome and I've that too, because I used Firefox 4.0 Beta10 so earlier version is probably issue free.

I haven't noticed any problems with Opera 11.0.

I can confirm that Firefox 3.6.13 is actually viewing the Pm's correctly but not Firefox 4.0 Bet10 and I'm now using Firefox 3.6.13, because I had several crashes on Firefox 4.0 Beta10 as soon I enter the control panel to view my messages it crashed over and over.

Chrome decided it wanted me to "assimilate" today. I had to tell it no, it had a ring and everything.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't figure it out how do I get an embedded link on youtube to work.  :banghead:  :blah:

That's a known issue, Leo. You have to remove the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= part for the tag to work.
