Actually, Elaura, those aren't pajamas... His avatar is very nearly nude. I wonder if that's a sign of why things are how they are here, when the owner's avatar is almost naked.

Exactly. The problem isn't that the members are spamming our boards. The problem is that most of them aren't filling the boards with anything at all. Nice going, though, on the 1000 members. Here's to hoping they actually start post something from now on.

You have to register here to be able to post your character on the C&E page. I bet most of those new members are those who have done that. Give them time, they'll see that we're more than just a pretty face and want to stick around awhile.

The tendency is certainly there, but to be fair a similar case arose back before the site move when you still had to become a member of the forum to download mods from it. The numbers even approached 1000 and would have probably passed it if Fliggerty hadn't cleaned out the member list. Only about two dozen members were actually posting at any given time, and most of those were just to ask about some bug they had with one of Fliggerty's mods. This site has come a long way, eh?

No, the potential spammers are the only ones I ever clear out.

Spammers got potential?  I always thought they had kinetic, but I'm usually wrong.

Congratz on all those members! This is indeed an exceptional site, very well managed with A LOT to offer. Including a very friendly/helpful community. I'm glad I came here.

Now we can all do our part and post in 5 different threads everyday and activity will be good

I started out as someone who only signed up for CnE, however after my CTD problem and finding a whole lot of posts I could contribute to, I became an active member. Anyway, congrats GHF and especially Archmagister Fliggerty for this great accomplishment!
