I really like all of them, but I think the difference between the Ra and Tefnut birthsign is small so they can sometimes be mixed up with each other. I suggest that you could give them some colour difference. Let say Ra can have an orange staff/stick while the Tefnut could have a slightly bright green colour (not much) of the body. Or you could just remove the staff from either of them but not both.

More to come!A shen ring is a circle with a line at a tangent to it, which was represented in hieroglyphs as a stylised loop of a rope. The word shen itself means, in ancient Egyptian, encircle, while the shen ring represented eternal protection. In its elongated form the shen ring became the cartouche which enclosed and protected a royal name. The shen ring is most often seen carried by the falcon god Horus, but was also carried by the vulture goddess Nekhbet. It was used as early as the third dynasty where it can be seen in the reliefs from Djoser's Step Pyramid complex.
The symbol could be stretched to contain other objects, which were then understood as being eternally protected by the shen ring. When it contained the name of the pharaoh the symbol became the cartouche. The word shen itself means, in Egyptian, encircle. The Goddess Heqet, (the 'Frog'), is often seated on a shenu.
- For Eternity, the renpit, papyrus stalk is usually based on top of a Shen ring. See the Egyptian god Huh. (Senusret I has a famous Lintel relief showing this.)
- The Shen ring is often attached to various types of staffs, the staff of authority, or power, symbolizing the Eternal authority of that power.
- The Goddess Isis, and the Goddess Nekhbet are often shown kneeling, with their hands resting upon a shenu.
- The Hawk (Horus), and the Vulture (Goddess Mut) have the shenu in their talons, wings outstretched, over the scene portrayed. The "Horus with Outstretched Wings", shenu's in its talons, is an example from the Louvre of a Pectoral Brooch, possibly for royalty.

In architecture, a hypostyle hall has a flat ceiling which is supported by columns, as in the Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak. In this case the columns flanking the central avenue are of greater height than those of the side aisles, and this allows openings in the wall above the smaller columns, through which light is admitted over the aisle roof, through clerestory windows.

This kind of thing could definitely catch the eye of a game developer and it's about time for a resurgence of interest ion Ancient Egypt.

Silver Fox, you mentioned a trailer, would you like me to put something a bit more dramatic together for it or do you want to use what I've worked on so far?

That thought never really crossed my mind at all.
*blushes* I wish I knew that type of programming because not only is blender a 3D modeling program, it's also a game engine too! Which is really good because when ever I work up enough nerve to learn programming, I might come out with a game of my own!

Hehe. That would be quite awesome, but building an entire engine is...very time consuming as well as taking forever when you have a small team and few resources. (this comes from personal experience.) But it is a nice concept, and truth be told. I've never even heard of an Ancient Egyptian RPG, and the idea makes me quite giddy.
But wouldn't want to get too far ahead of yourself in that department.

I'd take peachykeen's advice on avoiding Blender's game engine. It has some good fundamentals of a game engine, and its on its way. But at the moment, it's very...incomplete would probably be the only word I can think of. There's several essential (for the most part) things that cannot be done with it, and all-in-all, not suitable to use as a game engine for now.
I would opt to building a custom engine around OGRE, a very excellent open source 3D rendering engine. Coupled with Newton Game Dynamics as the physics library, possibly OpenAL for audio rendering, and whatever else you want (that's compatible and hopefully cross-platform) for your other libraries and renders. And of course loads of plugins which I happen to favor.Don't really need OGRE/Newton/OpenAL I guess either, I just happen to prefer those ones, and am more familiar with them.
And if you don't want to build an entire engine, Leadwerks is an excellent engine. Just the license for it costs $200, but that's way cheaper than most licenses for engines.
But gosh, I ramble. It happens when I start discussing that type of stuff.

To return to the previous topic, your models are as excellent as ever, Silver. I still do love the icons you've made, very much so.

Yes that would be excellent! Everything sounds wonderful! This is sooo reminding me of The Legend of Zelda: OoT and the Twilight Princess. This is going to be even more fun than I had originally thought!
