I am not entirely sure where to post this as it includes both movies and games about Star Trek, but I think this is the right place.  Feel free to move it to the Gaming forum.

I had no idea that Bethesda released the Star Trek: Legacy game in late 2006.  Has anyone play it?

I was not aware of the so called Legacy Game   I will have to check that out

Been watching star trek since the original series was not re-runs  still watch it today on Netflix now so I can binge watch   lol

Neither do I.  Although, I wonder if Starfield is a sequal of the Star Trek Legacy game.

The dude talks a lot, but that's typical of the movie industry sort's they enjoy talking about themselves and the great things they have done and who they know  etc etc

Regardless it is a good story, the Sulu character should have received better billing and more opportunity

But I can see why this never made it to the big screen, the acting is horrible, but the intent is good, the casting.... bad .... mostly just because it is hard to re-create
the lead characters

As far as Star Trek Legacy and Starfield connection  - no clue

I was watching both of the Web-based Star Trek series when CBS/Paramount sued them into submission, stopped Axanar and brought-out the garbage known as Discovery. I'm not happy about what was done, especially with the "Woke" dreck that's been produced.

Axanar looks to be pretty good, and you say it's cancelled?

The only thing I saw in the video which is a bit incorrect is the War time line referenced at 2245  (not as the start)  the start of the war was actually 2256, though their were many "Battles" fought as far back as 2223

Axanar is rumored to be back on, now that Discovery is failing like other Woke works run by Canon-rejecting activists. Too bad Richard Hatch isn't around to see it.

I really wish Bethesda could re-release an updated Star Trek: Legacy, but somehow I doubt that will happen.

?  I need to buy and play it   but as far as re-releasing it  I doubt it also  It was not one of their better games at least from what I've read on it, but everyone is different

I've watched this video and that explains a lot of why the Star Trek franchise have changed over the years since the Star Trek Voyager, the DS9, and the Star Trek TNG series.


I miss these three tv series as each one of them are unique.

Bottom line for those who never knew it .... they are not the same star treks, not prequels, not sequels .... just different star treks
For all of us "original" Trekkies  you can blame it on CBS


The Marvel Universe does it all the time   multiples of everything

No, you can't blame CBS for that.  It's actually Sumner Redstone to blame for the decline of the Star Trek franchise in the 2005 split of Viacom.

However, thanks to his daughter Shari Restone who wanted to correct things as she was against the Viacom split in the first place.  Now, with Les Moonves out the way she can make it happen, which I really hope for.


Watch this video as it's the story of Star Trek from the beginning.

But Moonves has been out of the picture for a while   Maybe CBS will build it back up but I doubt it

I don't think CBS will do it before it gets remerged with Viacom in the next 2-3 years, but in the mean time CBS might produce the next Star Trek serie who knows for sure.

Another thing that CBS might do is to replay the Star Trek Series, not the Discovery, instead replaying the old Star Trek Series e.g DS9, Enterprise, TNG, and Voyager.

Syndication is a different animal  I don't have "standard" TV,    I only have Hulu and Netflix, so I have no clue who (if anyone) is currently running any of the series

I do hope someone revives Star Trek in it's original form... meaning continue on with the whole Federation thing....  
I got no idea were they currently are in production of spin offs  

It would be nice to see something new

In contrast to you I only have the most basic cable channels aside for the public television of course.

I've watch these two videos and I like both videos.





There is also another Star Trek spin off that's animated in three episodes, probably too long episodes if you ask me.

Haven't seen renegades at all ... read about it... saw that they had cast Walter Koenig as Chekov... which would put him somewhere around 140 years old, even in the Star Trek world Humans don't live that long

I understand that statement is a bit pessimistic and the Chekov charactor is a good one, but I still like a little tiny bit of realism in my SIFY

I will watch it though
