Just read this announcement from EXreaction the author behind the AntiSpam CP mod and he explain why the lithiumstudius.org site is closing.

I found an updated AntiSpam CP mod and in the new version all references with lithiumstudius.org has been removed.

That's bullsh!t!  These bastards CANNOT own "Lithium Studios"!  They're "Lithium Technologies", and in NO WAY can they control the term "Lithium" because it's a common term in the English vernacular, and controlling a single common word like that makes it impossible for any other business to exist that may happen to want "Lithium" in it's name!

At last count, there were no more than470,000-500,000 distinct words, including variations.  There are, however, literally MILLIIONS

That's bullsh!t!  These bastards CANNOT own "Lithium Studios"!  They're "Lithium Technologies", and in NO WAY can they control the term "Lithium", let alone "Lithium Studios", because it's a common term in the English vernacular, and controlling a single common word like that makes it impossible for any other business to exist that may happen to want "Lithium" in it's name!

At last count, there were no more than 470,000-500,000 distinct words, including variations.  That includes no more than 65,000-90,000 COMMON words...and there are NO MORE THAN 108 words PERIOD in the Periodic Table of the damn elements!  There are, however, literally MILLIONS of distinct businesses, from small-time web operators and artisans to major international corps!  If our government allows ANYONE to control a "single" word, there could never be any new innovation by anyone ever again!

I wish this guy DID have the money to fight this in court, so the Supreme Court could once, and PERMANENTLY address this fact, so that no "Lithium Entity, LTD." can ever sue a "Lithium Properties" or a "Lithium Group" or any other "Lithium" guy who doesn't try to step on the WHOLE, UNABRIDGED NAME!

I mean, this is STUPID!!!

I read this and had to shake my head at the level of greed and stupidity driving this decision by that company.
