Status of Uvirith's Overgrowth

I wonder what status your Uvirith's Overgrowth mod have and I know what happen recently, so I understand that you cannot say for sure when the Uvirith's Overgrowth mod will be released.

Now, I don't want to push you or anything, but after I took a quick look at your WIP gallery for the Uvirith's Overgrowth mod I got excited and I want to try it from the first day you release it.

Also, I wonder if that's gonna to make BuUL obsolete (not really obsolete), but more outdated when using BuUL with UL 3.5 (perhaps with 3.0 up to 3.4) or UL 4.0.

UL 4.0 is going to be released well before UO, mainly because UO is going to take a long long time to make. It's a huge mod that will not only be fully compatible with UL 4.0, but also interact with it (and RoHT as well). It's going to totally replace BuUL, which was always kind of a half solution to the compatibility problem with BuUG, and UL 3.5 will be totally obsolete by then as well.

Even though the major elements of the exteriors are done and a fair chunk of the interiors, the dialogue, quests, and scripting are going to take far longer to write and test, especially when quests are meant to interact with each other and other mods. It's not so much a chain of events to build the town, but a web of them, all pulling together to create the kind of town the player is roleplaying for (isolationist Telvanni, Empire friendly, Temple hostile or friendly, rival house hostile or friendly, pro or anti-slavery etc.).

I can't give much of an ETA on any of my mods at this time, but the plan is to finish all the Telvanni stuff in Quest Tweaks and Alternatives this, then UL 4.0 (next year maybe), then the UL 4.0 RoHT and TR addons (while UL 4.0 is being beta tested by itself), then maybe a few other things... and eventually UO a few years after that.

There is no need for a ETA, so take your time since it's worth waiting for.  :wibble:
