Readme:
What this mod does: This mod adds reflections , Normal maps, and gloss maps to the

vanilla Emerald, Rubies, Diamonds, Pearls, Raw Ebony, Raw Glass, and the vanilla

rock containers where the player "mines" the Ebony, Glass, and the Diamonds. It

also adds alpha channeling to the meshes for the Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, and

the Raw Glass.

What this mod does not do: Besides the addition of the new texture paths, it does

not replace the vanilla meshes, or vanilla base textures.

Hey you!  You didn't tell me you were about to make another shiny release!  YAY!!!  I was so not looking forward to using a gem/ore total replacer and now I don't have to.  Would you mind if I suggest KINGPIX include your shiny mods in the next edition of MGSO?

oh IDK I will have to think about it.
hard decision since all I did was make and apply the normals, and gloss maps. every thing else is vanilla.
Sadly I think the silver dishes, and candlesticks in MSGO are already made shiny but with higher poly meshes, and HD textures.
but the ingredients I wouldn't see a reason why not.

Excellent! The thing about MGSO is that it has alternate settings depending on which options you want or what your computer can handle. I would prefer to use yours and higher res doesn't always mean better.

You are one of the few people that I know that say that I for one agree with that statement otherwise I wouldn't bother with the vanilla stuff.
Oh wait yeah I would cause these are low res low poly count for those with not so great machines.

KP has more trouble finding graphic enhancers for lower-end machines these days.  However, even though this new computer of mine is amazingly fast to me, it isn't a beast. Besides, I like the aesthetic of a lot of the vanilla stuff. I really do want to keep Morrowind looking like Morrowind, just better.  :D

Drak, I know it's been a while since this release, but I just managed to get my game re-installed and working.  I got the following error:

TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\n\Ingred_RawEbony_01.NIF" tex not found "textures\drak\tx_dark_reflect.dds"!
Texture Load Error!: textures\drak\tx_dark_reflect.dds


I checked the path and it wasn't there.  I went back to the archive and it wasn't there either.  Finally, I re-downloaded the mod and no joy.  So far this is the only error I've gotten, but if you used the tx_dark_reflect anywhere else, there will be more.

Okay thanks Elaura I will add the texture to the archive, and update the mod tomorrow.
I'll put another post here when I get it updated.

Okay I updated the archive, and all of the textures ought to be available for use now.
Thanks again Elaura, for the heads up.
Some of my other mods have that texture included which may be why no one else has noticed that it was missing.
