This mod is really both a Work-in-Progress and a fully functioning travel mod. It requres Tamriel Rebuilt (at least Map 1), as it allows you to travel by boat from Dragon Fell to the Tamriel mainland. Two Kajit, brother and sister, apparently operate as part of the Twin Lamps, helping slaves escape the Tamriel mainland by sailing UNDER the Imperial Blockade...in a SUBMARINE!
Ultimately, I'm hoping to expand their dialogue and add a coupla quests to them, perhaps integrating them into Tamrielic lore......

In browsing for fun mods, I recently discovered "Seaquest Sub" by MJY, utilizing
scripts written madmax and modified by bunga dunga.
And while that mod was fun--you basically buy a Dwarven submarine in Sedya Neen, and
pilot it around Morrowind's waterways--I realized something else about this particular
boat: it would make a great blockade-runner for the route between Vvardenfell and the
Tamriel Mainland!
I mean, think about it...Imperial ships, Indoral watercraft, and Telvani
Riverstriders all have a reason to stop any floating object from Vvardenfell before
it ever reaches the mainland carrying disease and blight.
But...UNDERWATER belongs to the Dreugh, the Slaughterfish...and the submarine!
And two tech-savvy Kajhit Abolitionists have found the perfect place to set up shop,
delivering supplies and maybe weapons to the mainland, and bringing escaped Telvani
slaves back--around the Bitter Coast from Dagon Fel all the way to the mission at
Ebonheart, and all you gotta do is find them!
You can now travel from the eastern shore near Dagon Fel to the Tamriel-Rebuilt city of
Bal Oyra near the northern end of the mainland. From there, you can grab a silt-strider
to places further south, or grab a boat to other places on the coast. The two
shipmasters, Rumple-Teaser, and her brother Rumple-Tiger, have each set up a dock where
they may discretely load cargo and passengers, out of the watchful eye of either local
or Imperial authorities.
This is both a Work-In-Progress, and a finished, fully-functional travel mod!
Ultimately, I intend to add more dialogue, and maybe one or more quests that will tie
into the Twin Lamps quest lines. Already, there is bags of saltrice, and Dweomer
Quarter-kegs of food and other supplies To be loaded--or transported away--at the two
docks. Who COULDN'T imagine a slave or three, escaped from the Telvani slave pits,
might have sailed under these very waters to freedom in Vvardenfell?
The sub in this mod is purely static; I've discarded the script(s) that let you actually
pilot the sub. This is a pure travel mod, not a mini-game. I do not know where Madmax
originally aquired the sub mesh, or if he created it himself; neither Bunga Dunga nor MJY
credit the creator of the mesh. However, I thank all three of these modders for the
ultimate (Version 3.0 when I found it) mod archive that I built this idea from.
Only Tamriel-Rebuilt Map 1 is required to get the most out of this mod, though both Map 1
and Map 2 are recommended--and both maps are included in the Map 2:Antideluvian Secrets
archive, so definitely grab that one if you can.
